Hi Jack, thanks. I think our little dog has the most fun. He has to run to the door with each ring of the doorbell, then they pet him and he loves the action of the evening. hahaha

I love Hallowe'en. My last Hallowe'en as a kid was in 1957, but even today it reminds me of the smell of woodsmoke in the dark, of leaf piles and lighted dooorways, and a cold Autumn night. The candy was never the main thing, and we never go into mischief.

Rhod, giggle....me too. I miss making all the piles of leaves and running and jumping into them. The smell of cider on the stove, a fire going....so many things.
