U.S. Supports "Moderate Muslim" to Head U.N.
BANGKOK (Reuters) - Former Thai Foreign Minister Surin Pitsuwan, a Muslim. He has emerged on Thursday as a possible last-minute candidate to replace Kofi Annan as United Nations Secretary-General.
Reports are that the U.S. is backing Former Thai Foreign Minister Surin Pitsuwan for the post. He also happens to hail from the nation that hosts the international child sex slave trade.
Annan's term is up on December 31, 2006. He won the Nobel Peace Prize even though he presided over the 1994 Rwandan genocide as field leader for the U.N. Peacekeepers, and has sat back and watched the Darfur genocide without taking any action.

There are numerous articles related to the race for the top spot at the UN on the bbc news website. They include basic bios, chances/odds, and the result of the last 'straw poll' which showed the S. Korean foreign minister to be favored.
Personally, If Christ were to be re-incarnated and come back as a Muslim, I don't think that he'd have my vote. It is the WRONG time to have any Muslim preside over the UN. The left is doing a good enough job empowering them on their own. They don't need any more encouragement.

You know, there probably isn't any "good" choice for the head of the UN. I'm hoping for the worst possible person to preside as that might push us out even further.
As majority investor in the UN, I think we should definitely have more of a voice, period.

It is shaping up like the UN is becoming an Islamist body, now as for Thailand and the Coup, the General in charge is a Muslim, he nullified the Thai constitution, now he's going to make peace with the Islamo-Fascists in the South who have been agitating for separatism the past 3 years. Thailand might just be the next "Indonesia", if so the killing fields of Cambodia will pale in comparison when the Buddhists go to the slaughter block.
