To defend the existence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the State of Israel. To protect the inhabitants of Israel and to combat all forms of terrorism which threaten daily life.

The Israelis are great soldiers They have been let down by their leadership in this last war. Hopefully that situation will be remedied PDQ.

Yes indeed they are great fighters, they were let down by Ohmert, and regretably the Bush administration. We expect solidarity from our allies yet we hamstring them in their fight for independence. Looks to me like the UN is only replacing one mercenary with another, siding with Hezbollah. Both the Israeli's and the U.S. will lose while the Communists and Islamo-fascists win.
