To The Royal Court: BITE ME...... from, Israel
A STATEMENT BY THE ROYAL COURT
JEDDAH, JULY 25, SPA -- FOLLOWING IS THE STATEMENT ISSUED TODAY BY THE ROYAL COURT:
" THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA HAS UNDERSTAKEN THE ROLE REQUIRED OF IT BY ITS RELIGIOUS AND NATIONAL DUTY WITH REGARD TO THE SITUATION IN THE REGION AND REPERCUSSIONS OF EVENTS IN LEBANON AND THE OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES.
IN THIS REGARD, IT HAS CAUTIONED, WARNED AND EXTENDED ADVICE. FURTHERMORE, IT HAS STRIVEN FROM THE FIRST MOMENT TO STOP THE AGRRESSION, MOVING ON MORE THAN ONE FRONT AND BY MORE THAN ONE MEANS, TO PERSUADE THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO FORCE ISRAEL TO AGREE TO A CEASEFIRE.
MEANWHILE, THE KINGDOM HAS DISPATCHED HRH THE FOREIGN MINISTER AND HRH THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL TO MEET H.E. THE U.S. PRESIDENT IN WASHINGTON AND INFORM HIM OF ITS VIEWS ON THE GRAVE AND UNPREDICTABLE CONSEQUENCES OF THE UNREMITTING ISRAELI AGGRESSION IF MATTERS WENT BEYOND CONTROL.
THE KINGDOM HAS ALSO ASKED PERSONAL ENVOYS TO VISIT THE CAPITALS OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL'S PERMANENT MEMBER STATES TO CONVEY THE SAME MESSAGE.
THE ARABS HAVE PROCLAIMED PEACE AS A STRATEGIC OPTION FOR THE ARAB NATION. THEY PRESENTED A JUST AND DISTINCT PLAN FOR REGAINING THE OCCUPIED ARAB TERRITORIES IN EXCHANGE FOR PEACE. THEY REFUSED TO RESPOND TO PROVOCATIONS AND IGNORED ANTI-PEACE EXTREMIST CALLS. IT SHOULD BE STATED THAT PATIENCE COULD NOT LAST FOREVER. IF THE ISRAELI MILITARY BRUTALITY PERSISTED WITH KILLINGS AND DESTRUCTION NO ONE COULD PREDICT THE CONSEQUENCES AND THAN REGRETS WILL BE IN VAIN.
THEREFORE, THE KINGDOM ADDRESSES AN APPEAL AND A WARNING TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IN ITS ENTIRETY, AS REPRESENTED BY THE U.N. AND IN PARTICULAR THE U.S.
THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA CALLS ON ALL TO ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH HONEST, CONSCIOUS AND INTERNATIONAL MORAL AND HUMANITARIAN LAWS. IT ALSO WARNS ALL THAT IF THE PEACE OPTION IS REJECTED DUE TO THE ISRAELI ARROGANCE THEN ONLY THE WAR OPTION REMAINS AND NO ONE KNOWS THE REPERCUSSIONS BEFALLING THE REGION, INCLUDING WARS AND CONFLICT THAT WILL SPARE NO ONE INCLUDING THOSE WHOSE MILITARY POWER IS NOW TEMPTING THEM TO PLAY WITH FIRE.

I apologize for all the caps, that is how the announcement is stated at the site the Saudi Press Agency...HERE.
OK so maybe the Saudi's are just doing the…. we need to say something thang’, you know for the people to hear. Or maybe they are serious, but I just can't see them wanting to be at the receiving end of the power of the IDF.
I am not sure if they want to risk themselves over the Palestinians, who they've never given a damn about except as props. The Saudis pay others to do their work.

Almost every sentence in that statement is a line of extreme BS, beginning with the term "Occupied Palestinian Territories". And the the references to wanting peace, a plan to regain "the Occupied Arab Territories", the "Religious Duty" of the kingdom and the direct threat of "consequences". Hollywood would be hard pressed to write a script of such fantasy.
Although the DNC, or Sen John Kerry could probably pen similar make-believe.

Those key words and statements you pointed out reminded me of the talking points the DNC hands out before the Sunday morning TV political talk shows. All Dems saying exactly the same things, and repeating as often as possible the talking points even when they are outright lies.

The Saudi government is walking a chalk line and gives a lot of anti Israel lip service to the Arab world but in private says something else. The Saudis do not want to mess with Israel..they have nothing to gain and everything to lose.
Israel is gonna play out the hand and they are holding the best cards. The only thing that could hurt them is an economic boycott by the USA and that just ain't gonna happen.
I have some speculations about what is gonna happen and they all involve Israel moving in with massive ground forces and search and destroy Hezbollah. And because Hezbollah is running the Lebonese goverment it will go down also. Then Israel will withdraw and the US and the UN will pick up the pieces..and probably the expense of rebuilding Lebonan.
So, my money is still on Israel. Mostly because they are fighting for survival and the ragheads are fighting for a religion that is shaky at its best. Israel has no choice but to win or be destroyed. The Arabs have a choice of just going somewhere else in the Arab world..if they can convince someone else to take them in.

Hi GUY, I like your speculations. I agree as well, Israel is fighting to survive unlike the Hezbollah. And that alone makes a huge difference.

The Saudi's have worked behind the scenes to undermine stability world wide, seducing the present administration into believing they are our friends. They are not. They have declared war against the west and they actively agitate the hotheads, only when the royal family's heads are threatened do they tame the rhetoric. OPEC was founded to economically strangle the West, the US in particular, this was the opening salvos of the war against the west. The oil business is not a free enterprise. Opec raises prices, we jump to pay the piper, Opec cuts production we wail and gnash but we pay the price. The world's economy is based on oil, the enormous profits Opec makes from extortion buys the arms, pays the militants, buys off the politicians and hushes the critics. There are two ways to stop this, take out the Islamists directly or make them poor again. Take out the oil fields, no money, no oil, no influence, no more cartel. Instead we play the UN game of appeasement. Sending Condi back repeatedly to beg for an Israeli ceasefire, this is giving in to the tantrums of the world's spoiled brats. Let Israel tan their spoiled asses. Oh, before I forget, thank Vladimir Putin, another friend, for his part in this too.

Jack I agree so much.
I did not want Condi to go there, I don't want us to appease them at all with any talks. I just want us to say Yessss we stand by Israel and anything Israel needs we will help with.
