Great photos WT. That photo of the check point with the tracks for a speed bump sure bring back some vivid memories. It takes very little imagination to step back nearly 40 years to be reminded of the hazards, the heat, the smells and the misery. God bless these brave souls so they may celebrate many more Independence days.

Yes it does make the time in Nam come immediately to mind and all that came with it. Your sharing about this is so true, weird how even the smells are right there filed away and brought back so quickly.
