Just did a Google of "Murtha" "ABSCAM", and found that he was one of the unindicted co-conspirators lured to the hotel by the FBI posing as Arab Sheiks. Offerred the money directly, Murtha was recorded as suggesting that the Sheik invest it in Murtha's hometown rather than take the money directly. A quid pro quo was suspected, but no charges were brought.
Murtha's a disgusting pantload for several reasons.

Rhod oh my gosh he sure is, what an awful person. What gets me too is, when we find things out, say like this, I always wonder how much more there must be that they managed to keep from getting out. Thank you for the information Rhod.
