ROCKEFELLER: I do believe that Iraq poses an imminent threat, but I also believe that after September 11th that question is increasingly outdated.

WALLACE: Now, the president never said that Saddam Hussein was an imminent threat. As you saw, you did say that. If anyone hyped the intelligence, isn't it Jay Rockefeller?
ROCKEFELLER: No. I mean, this question is asked a thousand times and I'll be happy to answer it a thousand times. I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq, that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.
Now, the intelligence that they had and the intelligence that we had were probably different. We didn't get the presidential daily briefs. We got only a finished product, a finished product, a consensual view of the intelligence community, which does not allow for agencies — like in the case of the aluminum tubes, the Department of Energy said these aren't thick enough to handle nuclear power.
They left that out and went ahead with, "They have aluminum tubes and they're going to develop nuclear power."
WALLACE: Senator, you're quite right. You didn't get the presidential daily brief or the senior executive intelligence brief. You got the national intelligence estimate.

Syria and Iraq both had a heads up in plenty of time to move any incriminating WMD right across the border into Syria. And don't forget that Rockefeller is the person behind the Dem's Intel Committee memo that Sean Hannity broke the story on a couple of years ago. That memo said that the Dem's had one shot at using the Intel committee investigation against the Republicans/President Bush. The trigger for that shot was pulled 2 weeks ago when Harry Reid demanded the "closed session."
These people are not stupid, they are anti-American. Their enemy is the US, always has been and always will be, the only difference between 1941 and now is that they are overt rather than covert with their goals. They are now able to be overt with their hatred because the people have been softened, through media, education, drugs, sexuality, etc. just as Marx promised they would be.
These types of actions will continue until someone gets tried, convicted and executed for treason. So, whether its a Senator (i.e., Rockfeller) or a reporter (i.e., like Judith Miller), if you have sold this country out, you should be held accountable and suffer the consequences.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at the Damascus al-Shaab palace on Monday received the US senator J. Rockefeller and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and the US ambassador in Damascus Theodore Qattouf.
Discussions dealt with results implied by the incidents of September 11, 2001 in the US at the regional and international levels.
The President stressed that fighting terrorism should be based on analyzing reasons behind it, noting that the already debated concept of terrorism is a terrorism which is too far from Islamic values.

This really makes me wonder about the people of West Virginia who elect a former leader of the KKK and a traitor like Rockefeller to the US Senate. Seems their right up there with Massachusetts when it comes to the character of their US Senators.

IMHO, Rockefeller is far from the only one that should be hung for treason. There is a whole party that has let their loss of election bitterness override the importance of our war against radical islam. Any American that doesn't have their head up their ass knows that the democrats and the main stream media have our troops blood on their hands- there is no doubt in my mind that we have lost guys as a direct result of their actions.
