This is just a pre Christmas post to all of you. The serious one will be right before Christmas. Let's ignore those awful lefites that want to stomp on Christmas and ruin it for children and the child in all of us. They will never know the true meaning of happiness or know the secret of staying young forever. They were born old and probably never experienced joy that comes from deep within, or the hope that a new year brings. They will never know the awesome feeling we all get when we think of our Military and what they have done for our country and for each of us. They probably never thank a Veteran and know with all their heart that he or she is why we live in the land of the free. They are icky and awful people................got that lefties??!!!!

Yes. "Stay young forever". Believe your government gives a rats ass about anything but $$$ and power. That they "don't do torture" and that God really cares.
When I was a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things....

Wow! You call yourself grumpy that is not even that half of it.
God does care, how sad for you not to believe that. Our government does care about $$$ and power and they better as far as I am concerned. We are the most powerful country in the entire world and thank God it is OUR country, the USA that IS the most powerful or we would be in deep shit!!!
Torture?? You are saying our government does not do torture or does torture and you do not approve ..........I am not sure what you meant by what you said. IF our government tortures terrorists I applaud them!!!!! If our government tortures rapists and murderers then good!!!!

How sad for you, how truly sad. You see staying young is in the heart. I just means keeping that child like quality that keeps us all young. What I meant, for what it's worth, was that all the noble excuses we give for war are just that, excuses. It's all about $$$ and power. And I'm not talking about money or power for the little guys (or gals). They're just there for fodder. Just follow the money. Cuts for the guys in the field, the kids in headstart, the elderly. Billions "gone missing" in Iraq, tax cuts for Exxon et. al.
As for the torture quote, you must not have been paying attention. Bush asserts "We don't do torture" while threatening to veto a must pass spending bill if it has any prohibitions against torture. You obviously don't care if we act just like every other sadistic regime in pursuit of $$$ and power. Cool. At least you're consistent.
Except for that God thing. Who would Jesus torture?
Then again, belief in superstition and fantasy worlds would make it easier to exist in the fairy tale of "Us good, them Evil". Enjoy.
